SACC operates as a service to Elementary-aged students enrolled in Birmingham Public Schools. The program provides a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment for Junior Kindergarten-5th grade students  before and after school. Kids Club offers a wide range of activities that includes outdoor play, crafts, games and other fun-filled pastimes. Homework, reading and other quiet activities are provided as well. 

The program serves families Mondays-Fridays with registration options for half-days, mornings, and afternoon sessions. SACC — which strictly follows the district calendar— begins the first day of school in the fall and meets only on days school is in session. 

BPS SACC is licensed by the Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs.
